Black Flag was looking for a creative way to introduce their Roach Motels to their young adult audience. They were looking for something that would gross their audience out so much, they just had to buy the Roach Motel. We decided to take a unique perspective, and see things through the roach’s eyes.

We chose an outdoor board in a trendy, walkable neighborhood, as many young adults frequent these areas.
A roach eye covering the page of a magazine is striking and will catch the eye of a young person flipping through their favorite publication.
As many young people live in cities and commute to work, we chose to encroach into their imagination bright and early, presenting a roach’s eye-view from their pillow
While scrolling through Instagram, youngsters come across a burger, but from the roach’s point of view.
Roach Eyes will be sold with each Roach Motel, showing the consumer exactly what the roach in their house is seeing.
